Having just started the 5S process with the team at Healey Road, the biggest thing I notice it the inclusive nature and buy in from the whole team, they knew from the beginning they owned it. We all started off very quiet, however, with Alan’s great mentoring, by the end of the first session all participants were engaged. The want to implement a positive change to the work environment, ensuring safety, improved productivity, cleanliness and ultimately a real pride in what we are doing was evident to all involved. This was their process to own, they were not being told ‘it was the way’ by management and they were all on board to make their space a great space If the first few sessions are any gauge, I cant wait to see what this team achieves by the end.
